Sok is a teenager from one of the villages that we assist, and unfortunately is mute.
We first met Sok when Project Cambodia where at the village, where Sok took some pictures on a volunteers camera. It was apparent that he has an eye for photography.
Sok has 2 younger brothers and 1 sister, that are also mute. They are all deaf, cannot talk, write or read. With the passing of their father in early 2017, life has become very desperate for the family. Even through Sok's struggles, he always has a smile on his face. We are supplying Sok with a Camera to take photos that we will be holding exhibitions with to raise much needed money for medical expenses, food and housing.
We are currently raising money so that we can take Sok and her siblings to get medically assessed to see if there is anything that can be done for their hearing.
